Living pay check to pay check
Still won’t stop you
Because it’s imperative
That you have the cutest shoes,
Pretty toes and fingers
Unique jewelry and all the latest gadgets
They must be acquired.
Student loans, credit cards, and three jobs
Make it all ‘okay’
But graduation is just a few months away
I’ll check back with you then
