I don't want to live paycheck to paycheck. Granted, I should be thankful I even get a check. Some people don't get one. Every month, I know I'm getting paid. It's usually less than expected, but it' always there. And I should be grateful. And I am. But I don't want this life. I don't want to worry. I'm always nervous about whether or not I'll have enough money to last me until next pay day. Enough to pay bills, keep my gas tank full, keep food in my fridge. I don't know if it's paranoia or legit. But it's there, and I don't like it. And I don't want to live like this forever. And I won't...

2Months of No Shopping

So today, me and my friend decided that we won't be spending any unnecessary money until graduation. Basically, we can't buy anything material; essentials ONLY!

No jewelry
No clothing
No nail polish
No books

No nothing that is not food or gas, or bills. I'm hoping to save up enough money to buy myself some nice things for graduation and some cute, girlie summer clothes.

I really feel like I can do this. Besides nail polish (which I have plenty of) and a pair of yellow shorts I've seen at Target (I can find some in the summer), there is really nothing that I REALLY want. So I should be good.


Now that I've got it in writing, let the journey begin. No shopping until May 6th...I got this! lol

Time to Start Saving!

I've promised myself that I wont be shopping for (at least) the rest of the month.

I'm gonna get my hair done sometime in the next few weeks. and buy myself a pair of shoes in august....but thats it.

The only thing I'll be paying for is gas and food....and bills.



fyi...these are the shoes I'm thinking about getting....My kicks collection has been starting to fizzle out. the last time I bought a pair of dope sneakers was in '08. I havent seen a pair that I just HAD to have...till I saw these. lol. Now I just gotta decide which one I want
